진해 Jinhae

Hiking 장복산

Autumn is coming in and I take another short trip to 진해 Jinhae to see the leaves change colors.

In the middle of the path on this large rock was a large beetle basking in the sun. Little did it realise that a few inches behind him was a quiet praying mantis. A man coming down the path the other way was soon to disrupt the hunt, but I had him stop to watch. With a quick jump the mantis grabbed the beetle and took him away to be consumed. It's not often one gets to see a wild hunt.
